Happy Halloween Elizabeth Fillmore!

Here is my favorite dress from Elizabeth Fillmore's Spring 2009 line.

As much as I love Elizabeth Fillmore I really wish she would use different models, or different lighting of both. Every year the models get a little creeper looking! :) Check out the web-site, the models are not that great. Not that I'm a model snob but they sure distract from the wonderful dresses.

Lillie is going to be a pirate for Halloween! Well, we shall see. Lil said that's what she wanted to be about a month ago but now changed her mind and say pirates for boys! We will see if she will get into the costume but a trip to Target may be in the works for a princess costume. :)

This little flower girl was soo cute with her football. She kept telling her mom that the football was 'so beautiful'. :)

Congrats to Wendy + Chris @ Mirbeau!

A big congratulations to the very cute couple Wendy and Chris who were married on September 20th for their Upstate New York destination wedding.

I have to say Wendy's Alvenia Valentia was one of my FAVORITE dresses this year!!! Big fan of them and how appropriate on Fashion Week here on the blog....

I like small bridal parties. This will be our wedding party size + 1 and a very cute flower girl of course.

Elizabeth Fillmore!

I'm excited to blog about this! During the runway shows on Sunday I'm was STOKED to see Elizabeth Fillmore on the agenda! My wedding dress is an Elizabeth Fillmore Ivory, Chantilly lace, A-line dress (with an added Ivory Monique Lhuillier sash). Perfect dress that go with my 1950 vintage shoes. :)

Her show was awesome of course but it was more exciting to talk to her after the show. How many brides can say they meet the designer of their dress? The highlight of my trip!

Ines Di Santo

Hello from NYC! Luke and I are down here in the midst of chaos called Bridal Market Week! We both got hired this year by The Knot.

With both us having 2 hours of sleep last night after our weddings, we hauled our butts down to Manhattan for the first show, Ines Di Santo.

Something very special happens every market (Spring and Fall) that we attend. Today was no different and can't wait to show you! Luke and I DID get engaged in NYC afterall! We hate getting 2 hours of sleep but we are have a GREAT time!
